ATLANTA - Members of the animal protection groups Viva! and the Animal Defense League have targeted McDonald's (55 Decatur, near Georgia State University) for a demonstration at 12 Noon Monday, October 16 as part of the 16th annual Worldwide Day to educate the public as to the cruelty to animals, environmental damage and harm to human health caused by McDonalds.

McDonald's Restaurants in Chicago, Honolulu, Dallas, New York, Philadelphia and hundreds of U.S. and European cities have been targeted for Monday protests, organized by McLibel Campaign.
